Training is as important as the software system itself. ASI offers two methods of training. It is the decision of the customer as to which method best suits their needs. The ideal method of training is on-site training at the customer location. This method of training is best suited for non-business days. Our training personnel will go to your location for two days (weekends in most cases). Training will be extensive and thorough. Most of our customers who choose this method are able to go "live" on Traffic Management Systems by the next business day.
Training via Phone & Dial-up Modems The second method of training is via phone and dial-up modem. This method involves the use of PC Anywhere software. This allows ASI to dial up to your computer (no matter your location) and train your personnel from our office in New Mexico. Again, this method is best performed during non-business days. This ensures the best possible retention. This will require the customer to access our computers in New Mexico (via PC Anywhere). This allows your company personnel to be trained without using your data. This type of training is generally scheduled over a two-day period. Shipping training is conducted on the first day and accounting training follows. Standard training time will be 4-6 hours in length for each day. There is no charge for training conducted via phone and modem, except for long distance charges.
