Network requirements/recommendations

Traffic Management Systems is compatible with Window NT or Windows 2000.  It is highly recommended that companies have someone knowledgeable with the network type implemented, or a local network vendor that can be readily accessible to provide service if and when needed.  ASI recommends Windows NT since there is more availability for service and support for Windows NT.

If implementing a network operating system, ASI recommends using 100 Base T Ethernet cards installed in each workstation and file server.  Category 5 wiring and 100 MB network hub is also recommended if opting to implement this platform.  Opting to use 100 Base T cards allows you the ability of 100 MB of data per second over the network.
